Zimbabwe Institute

Zimbabwe Institute has maintained a working relationship with the Parliament of Zimbabwe since the formation of the Government of National Unity in 2008. Zimbabwe Institute provides training and other capacity building support to ensure that Members of Parliament as well as the staff and administration of the Parliament of Zimbabwe are able to effectively undertake their roles.

Zimbabwe Institute works with the Parliament of Zimbabwe to coordinate Zim-Zam, an annual exchange and capacity development conference of administrators and staff of Southern African parliaments. 

In addition to Zim-Zam, Zimbabwe Institute has recently facilitated learning visits for staff and members of the Parliament of Zimbabwe to Kenya, South Africa and Tunisia, where they have had opportunity to get an appreciation of the workings of other parliaments so as to improve the effectiveness of the Parliament of Zimbabwe.
