Multi-StakeholderDialogue

Background

The Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue platform is an initiative which was conceptualised in 2016 by Zimbabwe Institute to provide a safe space for Zimbabweans from all walks of life to contribute towards policy dialogue and formulation.

Since inception of the platform, Zimbabwe Institute has conducted stakeholder engagement meetings with various stakeholder groups including political parties which are represented in the Parliament of Zimbabwe, members of the business community, groups representing youth, and groups representing women.

The Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue platform, which is otherwise known as Zimbabwe Dialogues, was launched in 2017 by the Speaker of the Parliament of Zimbabwe, Hon. Adv. J. F. Mudenda and has seen the participation of the Parliament of Zimbabwe, business representative organisations including Zimbabwe Farmers Union, Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries, and other groups representative of a broad spectrum of stakeholder groups across Zimbabwe.
